The first time you send a new token to one of your addresses you need to trigger 'token discovery' by synchronising the LIQUID app with your ZERO.
What is 'token discovery'?
There are thousands of ERC20 and ESDT tokens and not all of them are available on ZERO’s dashboard. You can securely store them on your ZERO, simply by sending ERC20 tokens to one of your ETH addresses or by sending ESDT tokens to one of your EGLD addresses (see How to add tokens that are not available on ZERO? for more explanation).
The first time you send a new token to one of your addresses, the LIQUID app needs to check your address(es) to see if there are any new tokens stored on that address. This process is called 'token discovery'. You can trigger ‘token discovery’ by synchronising the LIQUID app with your ZERO.
After synchronising the token, along with its transaction history, will be displayed in the LIQUID app.
Still can’t find your transaction?
You can verify that your transaction came through by looking up your address on a blockchain explorer like https://blockchair.com. Simply paste your address in the search box and have a look at 'Transaction history'.
If your transaction shows on a blockchain explorer but not in the LIQUID app, please reach out to email@example.com and we’ll figure it out together with you.
