What are the fees to buy crypto?

This depends on which provider you use. Click on the name of a provider to see the details

Transak is dedicated to being transparent about our pricing and fees. There are four variables that are used to calculate the total amount of cryptocurrency received for the chosen amount of fiat. Important to note that you will be able to see the detailed breakdown of the costs before proceeding with buying crypto.

Transak fee:

NGRAVE fee:

  • A percentage charge is applied on the transaction amount on behalf of NGRAVE of 1%.

Network/Exchange fee:

  • These are the blockchain transaction fees or gas that is paid to make the on-chain transfer of the crypto to the user’s wallet address.
  • These fees vary by blockchain network and cryptocurrency, as well as changing over time depending on network demand. This fee is set by the market, not by us.

All applicable fees, including network fees, will be displayed before you approve the transaction.

Note that the market rate and network/exchange fee are estimated. The final cryptocurrency amount that you receive is calculated when the fiat payment is settled.

Will I be charged a cash advance fee for my crypto purchase?

Some credit card issuers treat crypto purchases as cash advances. Because of this, you may be charged a cash advance fee on your crypto transaction.

While the exact amount varies, these fees are typically around 3%, sometimes with a 10 USD/EUR minimum.

To avoid paying this fee, we recommend using your bank account instead. If you choose to pay with a credit card, you should check with your credit card issuer before completing the transaction to see if a cash advance fee will be charged.
